This is where it all started....

An unlikely hero who started as an out of work plumber living in

an alley finds a strange mask and becomes

Helped by a freelance social worker, he tries to help people, only

to get himself into trouble. He is drawn to this social worker. A woman

named Julie Winters who has demons of her own.

A serial rapist known as Mr. Gone is terrorizing the city and

no one seems to be able to solve these henous crimes.

One night Maxx sees a bunch of small strange looking

creatures with sharp teeth, no eyes, and dressed as 100 year

old grannys. Following these creatures he has a run in with

Gone. He is Wounded and left in a dumpster.

One second he is in the real world and the next he is in the

"Outback". It is not like the real world Australia because

of all of the strange creatures. Here in this world he is a

great warrior and the guardian on the Jungle Queen,

who is the outback version of Julie Winters. In this land he is

king, although the Isz are a deadly foe.

When he returns to the real world he does not recall the Outback

and vice versa in the real world. Now the Maxx must help

Julie and the Jungle Queen to work out her demons and stop Gone.
